It was announced at yesterday’s drink reception at the Counter Terror Expo – which by the way was very good.
Emma has served on the main Board of the Security Institute for over 6 years, I have worked closely with her on the institutes highly acclaimed Validation Board and I can honestly say she is the best person for the job!
Emma has taken over from her predecessor Mike Bluestone CSyP, who had been in the position since 2009, they are certainly some tough boots to fill!
Emma is a well known face in the security profession, with representation at a number of key UK security groups. She was also number 30 in the 2013 list of the IFSEC Global ‘Top 40 Influencers in Security’.
Besides all of this she still has her day job as managing director of Esoteric a well known specialist Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM), bug sweeping & covert surveillance company.
Well done Emma, you have my continued support, I’m really looking forward to being part of the Security Institutes continued success.
