CPNI for the past three years has been developing extensive and validated guidance on how to improve security officer motivation across the UK’s critical national infrastructure. This guidance document, developed in collaboration with Leigh Fisher, is based on close involvement with industry and leading research on motivation. It provides all the necessary tools to help security managers assess motivation levels, analyse their data and then act on the findings to implement interventions that have the potential to make a difference at individual, managerial and organisational level. This video was produced to give a simple understanding of the process and allows those organisations interested in looking at motivation to understand the steps involved as well as the benefits that can be achieved through focusing on the motivation of their security officers.
